Products >> Embryo Transplant Microscopes

For equine embryo transplant, a good embryo transplant microscope is key. Breeding has turned high tech as more and more specialized equine breeders are examining the prospect of doing embryo implantation. We have the right type of microscope for this need. A typical stereo microscope will not work and will damage the embryo due to the high temperature of the stage. Most stereo microscope stands have a base transmitted light consisting of a high intensity halogen bulb. This gets quite hot and will degrade the embroy placed above it. The embryo needs bottom lighted (transmitted illumination) for the veterinarian breeder to examine and work with it. We have developed the specialized embryo microscope that has a rear mounted high intensity light that is housed outside of the base. The light is then condensed and focused by a means of an optical lens system and internal mirror, to channel it directly below the embryo in the base. Having the light outside of the base eliminates the problems due to overheading of the embryo. If you are interested in doing embryo transfer work, please contact us today. We have the microscopy equipment that is needed and at a huge cost savings.

Product Overview //
  • High Quality Zoom Stereo Microscope for Embryo Transplant.
  • Also For Any Application where a Hot Stage Glass is Unacceptable.
  • Also For Applications where Substituting a Cooler Fluorescent Light with its Inherently Poor Color Rendition and lower quality optical results is unacceptable! The use of Fluorescent Lighting in Embryo Transplant Microscopes is Not Favorable.
  • Other Scopes Have a Halogen Bulb Directly Underneath the Glass Stage Plate in the base. The stage can become Extremely Hot to Touch, and will Quickly Degrade Embryos.
  • For Best Results with your Embryo Transplant, it is Recommended to Photograph the Embryo Before the Transplant. Then, Compare the Embryo Again at Time of Implantation to Check for Degradation.
